GONZ BED We veneered a birch plywood torsion box with 1/4" bubinga veneers and drilled a grid of holes to provide air circulation underneath the mattress. Spars inside give the headboard stability, and bendy ply is veneered with bubinga so that the headboard can gently curve up and back to meet the wall behind.
