ED BED + SIDE TABLES This king size bed was designed with a local architect. We had the original heart of pine flooring from an old downtown warehouse resawn into plywood and skinned 1/4" pine veneers over a birch plywood torsion box, which gives the bed its strength. A grid of holes drilled into the box provides air circulation under the mattress. The solid heart of pine side tables are held in place with stainless steel pins.
